Course Description
The Personal Safety & Social Responsibility (PSSR) course is a fundamental STCW training program designed to prepare new seafarers for safe and responsible shipboard life. It develops awareness of maritime safety systems, teamwork, communication skills, and individual responsibilities while working on board. Participants gain a clear understanding of safe working practices and the importance of maintaining a positive and cooperative work environment.
Through interactive sessions and case-based discussions, trainees learn about pollution prevention, emergency procedures, hazard identification, and workplace behavior standards. Upon completion, seafarers are equipped with the essential knowledge needed to contribute effectively to safe ship operations.
